Lubbers Pond
Lubbers Pond
Lubbers Pond is a long, narrow pond on Lubbers Brook in Wilmington, just east of the Billerica line beyond Cook Street and Alexander Road. It lies in the strip of old Billerica east of the Shawsheen River that went to Wilmington in 1730 and 1737. The name is from the state's hydrography map; no Billerica record of the pond has been found, and when or how it was formed is not known.
